Get Lit Lou, adult winter reading program, launches

Get Lit Lou (short for Get Literary Louisville) is the Louisville Free Public Library’s brand-new winter reading program for adults, encouraging everyone to “read responsibly” this holiday season.

Now through February 28, participants who read any three books and attend three programs—either at the Library or at Get Lit Lou-specific programs with our partners Heine Brothers’ CoffeeAgainst the Grain Brewery, and 502 Fit Pass—will earn a coupon sheet redeemable for prizes and discounts at Book & Music Exchange, Heine Brothers’, and Scarlet’s Bakery. Everyone who completes the program will also be entered to win one of our weekly drawing prizes, including tickets to Actors Theatre, U of L Women’s Basketball, Copper and Kings Distillery, Headliners Music Hall, and more.

Upcoming programs include:

Southwest Regional Library, Friday, January, 13, 7-9 p.m.
